Kyojuro Rengoku is the beloved flame Hashira, and he learns from his father, a former flame Hashira himself. Kyojuro is also known for being an enthusiastic and friendly person who will gladly take on any challenge, no matter the risk.
Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito was the youngest Hashira, and yet, possibly the bravest of them. Interestingly, Muichiro and his brother were also descendents of Kokushibo, and thus directly related to Yoriichi as well.
1. Gyomei Himejima. Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira, is the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer corps in terms of strength and swordsmanship. He is the only person who uses spiked flails and an axe instead of standard swords to kill demons.
But there is one who is the friendliest of them all, and that is Kiyogiro Rangoku, the Flame Hashira. Among the pillars, there is not a single negative thing revolving Rangoku. Such an honest guy, and his character influences others positively. In Demon Slayer, Liu and Rangoku are not shown to have any interactions.
If Sanemi had been the one to encounter Akaza, while he surely would've given a better fight than Rengoku did, Sanemi probably wouldn't have emerged victorious regardless of Akaza's handy Compass Needle that makes him nearly impossible to decapitate anyway.
Tengen- Kakorrhaphiophobia the fear of failure. Gyomei- no phobia(s) Obanai- thanatophobia the fear of someone they love dies (broskie wants to make sure Mitsuri is immortal and frankly so do I :( ) Sanemi- no phobia(s) Giyuu- Cherophobia the fear of happiness.
Gyomei's Nichirin weapon is quite peculiar, as instead of a sword, he has a Flailed Spiked Mace connected with an Axe. However, he could kill a Demon by landing rapid blows until daybreak. Gyomei can defeat Akaza without even awakening his Demon Slayer mark. Akaza is too inferior in front of Gyomei.
Being the flashy and flamboyant man that he is, Tengen has become one of the best and most memorable characters in Demon Slayer. He had a rough start when meeting Tanjiro as Tengen was one of the Hashira that thought he and Nezuko should be executed, but the two of them have come to respect each other.
lets not forget that tengen was also poisoned and while the poison slowed him down he eventually got caught up and lost his hand, when tengen comes back towards the end of the fight he claims "i perfected the musical score technique" and proceeds to keep up with FULL strength gyutaro, with a single hand .
Gyomei Himejima is the strongest Hashira in Demon Slayer. Even the Hashiras who are filled with pride, acknowledged his skill and strength. As a child he was able to save a child from a demon by physically beating it for hours. He, along with Sanemi Shinazugawa were able to beat the Upper Moon 1, Kokushibo.
Gyomei, the strongest Hashira, died soon after the defeat of Muzan. He was already tired after battling the Upper Moon 1, and then he had to fight Muzan too. Muzan inflicted heavy injuries to him and he was unable to withstand them.
Without a doubt, the flamboyant Tengen Uzui is physically the fastest Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. His sound breathing technique is a derivative of thunder breathing, one of the quickest breathing styles. He was fast enough to keep up with Daki without any difficulty.
However, Tanjiro calls the demon out and Akaza turns to strike, but Tanjiro dodges. Akaza could not detect his fighting spirit via the compass and Tanjiro manages to decapitate Akaza with the Hinokami Kagura: Setting Sun Transformation.
He was soon decapitated by the combined force of Kanao and Inosuke, avenging Shinobu and her family. Trying to struggle for survival like Akaza, but lacking indomitable willpower as Akaza had, Doma's head slowly disintegrated and he met Shinobu's soul in the limbo, holding his severed head.
Gyomei, along with Muichiro, Sanemi and Genya, had to take down Kokushibo. After defeating the Upper Moon 1, Gyomei quickly found himself fighting against Muzan. During the fight, his legs are crushed, and he eventually dies while creating an opening for Tanjiro to attack.
Sanemi is inarguably one of the strongest Hashira in Demon Slayer who has the potential to gain victory over Giyu. Both the characters possess immense speed and endurance, and they also can take on an Upper Rank demon head-on.
Sanemi and Doma may be comparable in terms of power, but if they had to fight, Doma would probably emerge victorious. The reason Doma lost was because of Shinobu's poison that significantly weakened him. This eventually helped Inosuke and Kanao to defeat him.
He played a significant role in defeating Kokushibo and was able to inflict damage on Muzan. Sanemi's sheer power and speed will be able to overwhelm Nezuko even in her final form.
Sanemi and Gyomei decapitated Kokushibo, but he successfully regenerated his head just as Akaza had. However, the wound from Muichiro's burning red blade caused his body to disintegrate anyway. As his body withered away, Kokushibo reflected on his human life as Michikatsu Tsugikuni, the twin brother of Yoriichi.
