The class action lawsuit, filed in federal court in California in February 2023, seeks to hold Olaplex Holdings Inc. accountable for $75,000 in damages. The 28 plaintiffs in the suit claim that Olaplex products caused injuries to the hair and scalp, some reportedly resulting in hair loss.

What ingredient in Olaplex is controversial?
