Rohan Sharad Dahotre, an artist with a deep affection for animals and birds, expresses his love through his doodles. His series, Animal Doodles, features various images of animals and birds sourced from Google, onto which he unleashes his imaginative doodling. Nature, with its abundant patterns and textures, particularly in flora and fauna, serves as the inspiration for this project. Through his doodles, he aims to celebrate the splendid characteristics, behavior, colors, and textures of these creatures, showcasing their beauty in all its glory.

Dahotre’s intention was to explore the combination of tribal patterns and photographs of animals in the wild through doodling. Tribal art has always been a source of inspiration for him, and he has recently found fascination in African patterns and designs. His first doodle experiment featured a Rhino, which garnered a positive response on his social media platforms. Encouraged by this feedback, he embarked on creating a series based on this experimental approach.
What initially began as a spontaneous experiment during a dull evening, with doodling on images as a first attempt, turned into a profound passion for animals and illustration. This creative endeavor not only brought immense satisfaction but also proved to be a valuable learning experience. Animals and nature continuously inspire Dahotre, igniting his artistic pursuits.
