Photographer Combines Creative Makeup with Ice Cream To Create Eye-Catching Photos
Although the season does not lend itself to it, we are salivating in advance thinking about the next delicious ice creams that we will taste this summer. To wait until sunny days, the photographer Max Siedentopf produced around twenty portraits featuring colored ice creams and matching made-up faces/makeup faces.
It was last spring that the German artist began his artistic series entitled Pleasure Portraits (understand “Portraits of Pleasure”) when he was thinking of the first ice cream he would enjoy during the summer. He then surrounded himself with the professional make-up artist Leana Ardeleanu to create twenty colorful diptychs.
For this, they reproduced the different colors of each ice cream on the face of people using latex, glue, and face paint revealing captivating and offbeat style effects. Upstream, they had imagined several aesthetic combinations using a special tablet application.
Each person was then carefully selected to be in perfect correlation with the tints of the ice creams as evidenced by the young woman whose blue eyes match perfectly with the white and green colors.
The photographer who has already proven himself in the world of fashion could perhaps open the doors to new universes thanks to this creative and unusual project which should not fail to attract the attention of ice cream brands.
