The First Hair Salon for Dogs and Their Owners Opens In London

If you’re the type who can’t be separated from your pet for a second, this definitely unusual hair salon should catch your eye. Indeed, the London-based beauty salon Duck & Dry becomes the first in the world to care for animals and their owners simultaneously.

We love pampering our beloved furballs, so how about taking the opportunity to spend a moment of complicity for two? This is what the British show is offering on December 7 and 8 during a special operation called “Short, Bark and Sides”.

For two days, dog owners can come with their four-legged friends for a well-deserved relaxation session. On the program: hand and paw manicure, polishing and varnishing, face and fur mask, washing and grooming accompanied by a glass of prosecco for the adults and a gourmet bowl for the animals. And the icing on the cake: it will be possible to immortalize the moment to make a more than original Christmas card!

This event was organized in collaboration with Wisdom Panel, which provides canine genetic testing, and is completely free. However, at the end of the meeting, people are invited to donate the amount they want to the All Dogs Matter association, which helps abandoned dogs.

The idea of launching this pop-up store was imagined following a study revealing that 80% of dog owners prefer to take time to groom their companions to the detriment of their own well-being, but also that they feel closer to their animals after sharing a unique experience together.
