The Funny Shots Finalists of the Comedy Pet Photo Awards 2022
Since its creation in 2020, the Comedy Pet Photography Awards have rewarded the funniest photographs featuring pets. It is the perfect opportunity to unveil the grand finalists and the highly recommended shots of the 2022 edition.
The competition is organized by professional and wildlife photographers, Paul Joynson Hicks and Tom Sullam, who are also behind the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards competition which showcases the best shots of nature.
Faced with the enthusiasm aroused by this first competition, they then had the idea of creating a new one five years later, based on humor and creativity, the objective of which is above all to expose to all actions carried out by associations in charge of animal protection and to invite people to support them.
For this third consecutive year, more than 2,000 photos were sent by professional and amateur photographers from all over the world. At the end of the results, the Japanese photographer Kenichi Morinaga largely distinguished himself by immortalizing two cats sitting on a fence, truffle against truffle, and was awarded the sum of 2220 euros. A donation of 5,550 euros was also paid to the Animal Friends Pet Insurance association at the end of the competition.
We let you discover below the fun and touching finalist and highly recommended shots of the Comedy Pet Photography Awards 2022.
