3D Show of the Thousand Drones in Burning Man 2022

Did you remember our last post about Festival Burning Man? Every year in August, the Burning Man festival occurs in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada (United States of America). The event is recognized worldwide and attracts more than 50,000 people for 7 days. The main goal of the festival is to create a unique and crazy experience where there is no way to tell what happened at the end.

Its last edition, which was held from August 28 to September 5, ended with a great open-air show where 1,000 synchronized drones performed 3D figures.

The choreography was orchestrated by the artist duo behind Studio Drift. They directed 1000 luminous drones in the middle of the night, representing various figures including a red eye, a replica of a wooden man on fire, a tribute to one of the founders of the festival Larry Harvey and multiple geometric shapes before making a huge 3D human face appear.

It is a grandiose spectacle that will have allowed the festival to get a spotlight on the international media and increase its notoriety among the public. And in a similar spirit, we invite you to (re)discover the Pokémon fight carried out in the Texas sky using 250 drones, but also the spectacle of 300 drones which took place in the sky of Seoul to encourage gestures barriers.
