This Japanese Creates Adorable Punk Onigiris and Got Popularity in the World

Fan of food as of nature, the Japanese creative seems to be passionate about the Shima Enaga: an adorable little Japanese bird that looks like a ball of cotton. Combining this bird with onigiri, @daily_simaenaga found the fun idea of personifying rice balls to give them rocker bird looks.

If the small seaweed acts as a leather jacket, the food placed on top of the rice ball forms a small ridge similar to those of rock and punk cultures. A few small additions of finely cut nori seaweed also constitute the eyes and mouths to reinforce the kawaii side of these diverted Shima Enaga.
