Paperpan Artist Creates Impressive Origami With Colored Leaves

It’s always amazing how much you can create with origami. Many artists have also become real experts in the field, such as the creative Tayfun Tınmaz, better known by the nickname Paperpan, who creates delicate colored origami animals.

This graduate in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Marmara in Istanbul, Turkey has always loved working with paper and specially colored sheets. He started by creating a toucan and was impressed by the strength that all these colors could give to his creation. It was from this moment that the young Turkish artist embarked on an artistic project paying homage to the various species of tropical birds.

His collection then expanded to multiple wild animals and nature. For this, he creates shapes from colored paper that he will fit together like a puzzle giving life to minimalist but certainly realistic works.
