Sometimes small things can transport us to another universe and take us on a journey through art. A field that the Syrian artist Abdul Rahman Eid masters at his fingertips with his incredibly detailed dioramas with hyper-realistic renderings.

The young artist takes advantage of his own experiences to put to good use what he has learned. Before leaving Damascus for Saudi Arabia, he notably worked in the renovation of historic buildings and works of art, giving him a certain taste for culture. Although today he works as a jewelry designer, he continues to transmit his passion for history through his meticulous dioramas.

Indeed, he makes with very particular care adorable and tiny old shops, reproductions of towns and lively villages but also historical monuments. He creates and paints very realistic structures to which he adds, using tweezers, the different elements that will bring them to life, such as patterned carpets, lamps, vases, and sometimes even small characters.

The creative has more than one trick up his sleeve since when immortalizing his works; he takes pleasure in favoring close-ups giving the impression that they are real buildings. A sharp sense of detail right down to the final touch!

We let you admire below the incredible dioramas of ancient architecture by the talented Abdul Rahman Eid, to be found on his Instagram account. And if you enjoy this kind of creative exercise, we invite you to (re)discover the 40 Creative and Highly Successful Image Fusions by Artist Blimey.
