Using Ai, Hidreley Diao Reproduces The Characters Of The Movie Encanto In Real Life

The animated film Encanto: The Fantastic Family Madrigal, released at the end of 2021, was widely noticed as soon as it was released in cinemas. Its success was confirmed after it was put online on Disney+, which defined it as the most viewed film since the launch of the platform in April 2020. Faced with this enthusiasm, Internet user Hidreley Diao had fun imagining the portraits of characters as if they existed in real life using artificial intelligence.

This budding creative, passionate about pop culture, is not at his first attempt. Indeed, he had already produced realistic portraits of famous characters such as Rapunzel, Peter Pan, or even Milhouse from the Simpsons.

For the rest of his creative project, he was therefore interested in one of the latest creations from the Disney film. By combining Photoshop software with FaceApp, Gradient, and Remini applications, he managed to transform the portraits of all the characters in order to obtain human features. Although the result seems rather realistic, there is a slight difference in the shape of the eyes that Disney often draws round and protruding.
