Artist Edull Illustrates the Round Women to Celebrate the Beauty of All Shapes
For a few years now, more and more men and women have no longer hesitated to speak out via social networks to break the dictates of beauty. So to pay homage to them, the Brazilian illustrator Eduardo Santos embarked on a creative project by reproducing portraits of women with generous shapes from a photograph.
The designer, who also calls himself Edull, studied graphic design at the Federal University of Pernambuco in Recife, Brazil, from which he graduated in 2010. Having always had an interest in art, he started in 2013 with a series of drawings inspired by the Plus Size movement that emerged on social media.
Through illustrations in a very cartoonish style, he reproduces portraits of women with luscious shapes. Its objective: is to fight against prejudice and spread a positive and benevolent message. In a few years, the artist has been able to gather a nice community on his networks and many people ask him today to get their own portrait.
