A Renault 4L Transformed Into A Design Room With A Panoramic View

To mark the 60 th anniversary of its iconic 4L, the automaker Renault left it in the hands of French designer Mathieu Lehanneur. Objective: to make the Renault 4L an exceptional modern vehicle.

The designer has turned it into a luxury travel vehicle, called Suite n ° 4, totally revisited so that the experience is as pleasant on the road as it is when you arrive at your destination. From the outside, it retains its original design and dimensions. Only the rear bodywork has been modified in favor of transparent polycarbonate panoramic windows on the sides and the roof giving an architectural glass appearance.

Although its interior space is quite small, the trunk has been converted into a very cozy lounge area with a sliding wooden bench to benefit from a minimum of storage, cream and yellow bedding and two luminous wall lights on the sides. .

But Mathieu Lehanneur insisted on offering a 100% electric vehicle for this new version. It is thus equipped with transparent solar panels on the roof to recharge the battery thanks to the sun.

While waiting to enjoy a romantic getaway in the open driving this 4L of modern times, it will be exposed to the showroom of the Atelier Renault on the Champs-Elysées in Paris from 1 st December then at Maison & Objet from January 20 to 24, 2022 at the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte.
