She Matches Her Clothes With Paintings To Show Us Her Outstanding Fashion Work

The creator of the Instagram profile Match With Art shows us the beautiful complementarity between contemporary painting and clothing fashion with a lot of creativity. Created three years ago, it attracts the curiosity of museum and exhibition enthusiasts as much as those of fashion shows by matching their outfits with works of art.

She Matches Her Clothes With Paintings To Show Us Works

It all starts with a visit to an art gallery with colleagues. The young woman behind the account amused them a lot when they pointed out to her that her outfit closely resembled the tones of the work they admired. This amusing chance indirectly led them to take more interest in the work. And that's how the idea to create Match With Art emerged.

However, making these shots requires organization and rigor. Depending on the exhibitions that take place, the young woman goes there for the first time to locate the works. She then goes in search of the ideal outfit to match the paintings of her choice. Once this step is completed, photography follows, usually taken from behind, at the least busy hours to ensure optimal framing and perfect brightness.

But the strength of this account does not lie only in its artistic side. It is also found in the writing of the captions, written with care. The designer seeks to transmit information and anecdotes, preferably unknown, about the work in order to arouse the curiosity of a wider audience.

Through its atypical and informative account discovered thanks to Konbini Arts, Match With Art aims to encourage people to visit museums or exhibitions and prove to them that this universe is more fun than one might think. The designer herself, very passionate about this artistic world, has invented her own mantra: “Open the doors, art awaits you!”. Below, we present some of her photos and you can obviously follow her on her Instagram account to discover more.
