Better known under the pseudonym Peeta, Italian artist Manuel de Rita is a master of 3D optical illusions. He masterly turns urban buildings into amazing works of art. The art of murals and graffiti is gradually revamping the concept of contemporary street art.

The artist brings to life abstract forms that cut out the walls and swirl between them to create forms inspired by those of Maurits Cornelis Escher. The result plays tricks on the spectators depending on the angle of view they adopt.

His most famous creation is undoubtedly the transformation of this house, carried out in 2019, located in the city of Mannheim in Germany. The artist seems to have modified the structure of the house offering this city of 300,000 inhabitants an open-air work of art.
