Artist Lân Nguyen Uses Silhouetted Shapes to Turn Colorful Clouds into Whimsical Scenes
We've all had fun guessing familiar shapes in the clouds. This interpretation appeals to what in psychology is called pareidolia: where the art of seeing shapes and faces almost everywhere. Today’s creative clouds artwork project is going to inspire our professional artists.
Living in the Netherlands, photographer Lân Nguyen shares amazing shots on his Instagram account that turn clouds into familiar objects or cute little whimsical scenes. To proceed, he takes a photo of the sky that he then digitally retouches to integrate a silhouette that will give another vision of the cloud.
From a rose to a strawberry or a ballerina, these magical montages are reinforced by the glittering link of stars that the artist takes care to add in each of his shots. With this project Lân Nguyen is also playing with moon, as you can see in the below photographs.
