Amazing Minions-Inspired Smart Projector Developed by Chinese Designers

In today’s topic we will summarize the amazing minions-inspired smart projector developed by Chinese designers. If you like the world of Minions and creative derivatives, then you will undoubtedly love this very well thought out the little projector. Developed by Chinese designers Jerry C, Season Jia, and Bowen Yang, it exploits the famous Minions shape and plays on their unique eye to give more meaning to the product.

It all started in September 2019, when Universal Pictures and the Chinese manufacturer OBE called on our 3 designers to imagine a derivative product that would use the intellectual property (color, shape, etc.) of the Minions. Inspired by the monocular mask of the characters, the creatives, therefore, diverted this eye to make a decidedly cute lens and video projector.

Obviously, I am only looking here at the marketing aspect and the creativity of a branded product thought out in the smallest details and in no case the technical characteristics of the product.
