Photographer Gerrard Gethings Celebrates Lookalikes Between Cats And Humans

After having fun bringing out the similarities between dogs and their owners in a colorful project, wildlife photographer Gerrard Gethings had a good idea to do the same experience with cats. And again, it’s just awesome.

Because even if the expression “Like master, like a cat” does not exist (unlike “Like master, like a dog” which takes on its full meaning in his other project), it is sometimes necessary to admit that the similarities put forward by Gerrard Gethings are surprising. Obviously (and to be honest), human models are not the real masters of these cats. The selection was made through a long casting process which made the project a success.

The funniest thing between cats and human pictures is obviously that the resemblance does not stop only at the physical features, but also at the posture and clothing mimics reproduced by human models. A wonderful comic result that makes us want to believe that these pairs of cats-humans exist in real life!
