How Does Coronavirus Look Like Under The Microscope?
1. Initially, the photographs were plain but then painted in a special way.
2. Researchers notice that the images obtained do not differ much from the MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV images - coronaviruses whose outbreaks were recorded in previous years. However, this is not surprising, since all these viruses belong to the same family.
3. The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in mainland China reached 70,548, of which 1,770 died, 10,844 were cured and discharged from hospitals.
4. Viruses infect all types of organisms, from plants and animals to bacteria. Viruses are found in almost every ecosystem on Earth, they are the most numerous biological form. In animals, viral infections cause an immune response, which most often leads to the destruction of the pathogenic virus.
The size of the average virus is about one-hundredth of the size of the average bacterium. Most viruses are too small to be clearly visible under a light microscope, which is why we look electronically.
