The Best Underwater Photography Collection From Contest Underwater Photographer of The Year 2019
Do you like underwater photography? The results of the contest “Underwater Photographer of the Year 2019” are announced. “Underwater Photographer of the Year 2019” is chosen only for the 4th time, but interest in the event is growing at an incredible speed.
This year, the geography of the participants reached 65 countries. The jury struck the skill of the participants and the unusual nature of their work.
“Though we are a special niche in the world of photography, underwater photography is very diverse,” the jury chairman said.

“I hope you are as impressed with the work of the winners as the judges of this competition: Martin Edge, Peter Rowlands and me.” Underwater Photographer – 2019 “(UPY-2019) attracted more participants than ever before. Competition entries were received from 65 countries. The competition was even tougher. But no matter how much I love the winners of special awards, the most valuable for me is the competitive collection as a whole because it demonstrates the art of underwater photography from various sides. Please enjoy every job,” wrote Alex Mustard, chairman of the jury of Underwater Photographer of the Year.

Over 5000 shots were rated in 6 categories: Macro, Wide Angle, Fragments, Behavior, Portrait, Black and White Photo. The winner of Underwater photographer in 2019 was Richard Barnden with a photo of a hunting shark called “Call”.
