Hudson River Park - the Park Over The Water

Hudson River Park is a well known waterside park on the North River. The organization “The Hudson River Park Trust” officially announced the start of construction of a unique project in New York's lower West Side, on the site of the well-known object called "Pier 55". The damaged part of the pier №54 will be the foundation for the future of the park. All of this lush greenery will be based on several hundred strong supports of different heights, going under the water. On average, the park will rise above the Hudson River about 56 meters. The total area of the park will be a little more than one hectare. It is estimated that the construction of Hudson River Park will need about $ 130 million. Moreover, almost all of the necessary funds will be allocated by businessman Barry Diller and fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg.
