Did you hear about long-eared owls? Long-eared Owl is one of the most common and small species of owls that primarily found in the parts of the Northern Hemisphere. The long-eared owl is known also as a fairly widespread bird, found throughout North American, Europe and some parts of Asia, where it spends summer months breeding. During winter months, the long-eared owl migrates like other birds. Long-eared owl eats a day about 100g of food, equivalent to about 3 weight of mice. Average weight of female long-eared owl is about 300g, and the male is 250g. The dorsal side of the body varies from light brown to dark brown. I'm pretty sure that it's great horned owl, not long-eared owl on the 3rd photo.
